Marko Cvejić - jury member of the thirteenth Belgrade International Film Festival for and by people with disabilities
Marko Cvejić (1978) Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia. Graduated in film and theater directing at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
Founder of the independent production company Mandragora Film, within which he shot most of his films. He has extensive experience in all areas of filmmaking. He believes that film is a medium that steals moments of reality and records them for eternity. As a predominantly documentary creator, he believes that social engagement is reflected in the author's ability to recognize the needs of the times he lives in and to speak on behalf of a multitude of like-minded people, who do not have the opportunity to constantly point out social injustices through the language of moving images. He deals with topics that are not represented daily in the media space, his heroes are often anti-heroes, marginals and social outcasts. Unburdened of language, space and national identity, his films represent a wide range of the cultural diversity of the Balkans.
