THE THREE OF US - Grand Prix for the best film
Explanation of jury member Gorana Jovanović
For an intimate depiction of the "fight with windmills" carried by the struggle for one's own child within a community without understanding, the gradual outgrowing of its framework, as well as the true meaning of promises "for better or for worse", we award the main prize of the festival to the film THE THREE OF US directed by Henya Brodbecker.

Jury member Marko Nikolić's explanation for best director is as follows:
The author treats the topic in a very clear way - the impossibility of living in a "normal" way and the struggle with it, which by the end turns into the impossibility of living in a manner worthy of a human being, as well as the conscious decision to the team breaks up. Through the film, she guides us through the world of the protagonist in a determined, painful and dignified way, thus glorifying the strength of will and longing for life in every form. we think that "Addicted to Life" deserved the award for best director.
The award was received by director Paula Rapaport from America.

The jury's explanation of the award for the best screenplay, read by jury member Marko Nikolić, reads:
In this extremely different and unique, one could even say experimental film, the viewer is very quickly hypnotized. First, with a fantastically written narrative in which an artificial voice in the form of a robot addresses us, and then with an atypical narrative that, like essay films, guides us and explores the ideas of nature, technology and the relationship we have with our bodies in a meditative way. The film is a deeply calming experience that reminds us that we are all human first and that we all exist for a reason. The award for the best screenplay was received on behalf of the director by the Ambassador of Portugal, His Excellency, José Veles Caroso.

The reasoning of the jury, read by jury member Marko Nikolić, reads:
This film deserves the special attention of the jury because of the sincere and heartbreaking portrayal of the unconditional love of an older brother for a younger one, who unfortunately lives with a handicap. The film not only shines a light on the challenges many families face, but also celebrates their perseverance and desire to provide everything in their power for little Bennett so he can lead a decent life.
The Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia Mohamad Chandra Vidya Juda also supported the festival with his presence.
The cocktail for the guests at the closing of the festival was prepared by the Indonesian Embassy.
The director of BOSIFEST, Darko Ivić, also addressed the attendees at the closing of the festival.
I would like to thank everyone who helped and supported the Festival. First of all, I would like to thank all the participants who applied for the competition.
